Sequoia Landscaping, Inc. started in 2003, primarily as a residential landscape contractor and was incorporated as an S-Corp in New Mexico December 31, 2004. In 2006 Sequoia entered into the commercial contracting arena with its first large contract awarded in 2008. Now Sequoia is a full service commercial landscape contractor in New Mexico, providing design, build and maintenance services to both the public and private sectors. We have been an 8(a) certified S-corporation since September 2006 and are also NMDOT certified. Sequoia is a licensed, bonded and insured company with aggregate surety bond capacity of $5 million single contract and $12 million aggregate.

 

Our mission is simple: By using a team approach, our goal is to exceed our client's expectations in all aspects of Landscaping and Grounds Management, while maintaining a safe, satisfying work environment and making a fair profit.

 

The critical aspect of what we do still centers on producing beautiful results for our clients using this metaphor; the earth is our canvas and living things are the medium. We are well trained and heavily experienced in analyzing and understanding soil quality and composition. Being able to judge and select healthy vigorous plant material and sustain those qualities are what have helped propel our reputation and business.
